Want to learn to cook Thai dishes like a professional?  Come join our finely-tuned and long-running chef course program.  Over the years, we have had many aspiring chefs and executive chefs train with us.  Our culinary training courses are designed to teach you how to cook like a Thai!  Offering both Basic and Advanced Thai culinary training, with us you can study 1 week or all the way up to 7 weeks!!  To further enhance your learning, after completing your regular training, we offer FREE a two week internship at our school.  Here you get to assist our chefs in teaching and cooking of many Thai dishes.  Practice makes perfect, and this is exactly what you get to do with us.  We can teach you as much about Thai cuisine as you wish.   Classes start on each and every Monday of the month.  During each course, you can expect to learn about:

OUR CULINARY TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

The best way to learn to cook is to do it yourself.  In our intensive, hands-on program, our students –cook, cook, and cook.  Each daily class is divided into 2 sessions–Theory & Demonstrations in the AM, Practical Application (cooking) & Critique in the PM:
     AM Session–Our Head Chef discusses Theory, ingredients preparation, and Demonstrates how to cook each dish, discussing flavors, ingredients, substitutions, cooking methods,….while you ask questions and take notes
     PM Session–YOU get to prepare each dish based on recipes, notes taken, and observations.  Of course, as you have questions, assistance is provided.  By independently preparing each dish, you truly learn how to prepare the dish.  Your “creation” is then critiqued, and the Head Chef tells you how to improve it.
Typically, 4 – 5 professional Thai dishes are covered in-depth daily.

BASIC CHEF COURSE

BASIC THAI COOKING COURSE (IMMERSION SPECIAL)IMMERSE yourself for 5 days (Monday-Friday), covering the basics of Thai cooking: For those wishing to learn basic Thai cooking skills and mastery of the most popular 25 Thai dishes and 5 curry pastes

9:00-5:00, Monday-Friday (40 hours in 5 work days)

Introduction to food preparation, cooking, and food presentation techniques are discussed and practiced.  Familiarity with Thai ingredients, preparation of these ingredients for cooking, and familiarity with use of woks, steamers, fryers, cooking utensils is achieved.  Ideal for those not familiar with Thai cooking and homemakers.  For those wishing to start their own restaurants, this course is a perfect start as it covers the most popular Thai dishes.  And for those not having a culinary background, we recommend starting with this basic course before going into our advanced chef classes.

Course Details (5 Work Days):

  • Learning about Thai ingredients and fresh market tour
  • Learning about woks, steamers, fryers, cooking utensils and ingredients preparation
  • Taught just like our advanced professional chef cooking courses

ADVANCED CHEF COURSES

ADVANCED courses are designed for those who have a basic understanding of Thai cooking ingredients, utensils, and dishes.  For beginners, we recommend starting with our BASIC THAI COOKING course (see above).

PERSONAL THAI CHEF COURSE—40 hours over 1 week, advanced Thai culinary cooking and presentation:

9:00-5:00, Monday-Friday (40 hours in 5 work days):

Food preparation, cooking techniques, and food presentation techniques are discussed and practiced.  Thai cooking and dishes are illustrated by the chef and practiced until perfected by the students.  Cooking skills and confidence are fine-tuned in this course.

  • Learning Thai ingredients and market tour (1/2 Day)
  • Intensive Thai cooking (4 1/2 Days)

PROFESSIONAL THAI CHEF COURSE—80 hours over 2 weeks, covers advanced Thai culinary cooking:

9:00-5:00, Monday-Friday (80 hours in 10 work days):

Food preparation, cooking techniques, and food presentation techniques are discussed and practiced.  Thai cooking and dishes are illustrated by the chef and practiced until perfected by the students.

Cooking skills and confidence are fine-tuned in this course.  Also available at no extra charge is 5 days of Internship at the school working with our chefs while teaching students Thai culinary skills (optional but great practice).

Course Details (10 Work Days):

  • Learning Thai ingredients and market tour (1/2 Day)
  • Intensive Thai cooking (9 1/2 Days)
  • PLUS–An extra 5 days of Internship at the school (Optional and FREE, working with our chefs while teaching students)

THAI CULINARY CHEF COURSE—160 hours over 4 weeks or 90 days, fine-tunes Thai cooking skills:

9:00-5:00, Monday-Friday (160 hours in 20 work days OR over 90 days):

Food preparation, cooking techniques, and food presentation techniques are discussed and practiced.  Thai cooking and dishes are illustrated by the chef and practiced until perfected by the students.  Cooking skills, confidence, and use of Thai cooking equipment are fine-tuned in this course.  Also available at no extra charge is 5-10 days of Internship at the school working with our chefs while teaching students Thai culinary skills (optional but great practice).

During these 20 days, at least 80 professional Thai dishes are prepared.

Course Details (20 Work Days):

  • Learning Thai ingredients and market tours (1/2 Day)
  • Intensive Thai cooking (19 1/2 Days)
  • 1 day of Thai fruit carving can be substituted for a cooking day (up to you)

MASTER THAI CULINARY CHEF COURSE—240 hours over 6 weeks or 90 days, fine-tunes Thai cooking skills:

9:00-5:00, Monday-Friday (160 hours in 30 work days OR over 90 days):

Food preparation, cooking techniques, and food presentation techniques are discussed, practiced, and mastered.  Thai cooking and dishes are illustrated by the chef and practiced until perfected by the students.  Cooking skills, confidence, and use of Thai cooking equipment are mastered in this course.  Also available at no extra charge is 5-10 days of Internship at the school working with our chefs while teaching students Thai culinary skills (optional but great practice).

During these 30 days, at least 120 professional Thai dishes are prepared.

GRAND MASTER THAI CULINARY CHEF COURSE—280 hours over 7 weeks or 90 days, takes you from Basic to Advanced Thai cooking skills:

A total of 7 weeks of cooking, starting with the Basic course for 5 days and then 6 weeks of Advanced Thai cooking

9:00-5:00, Monday-Friday (40 hours in week 1 for Basic Culinary Course) &
