We take your privacy seriously and will take all measures to protect your personal information. Any personal information received by us will only be used for purposes related to our cooking classes, culinary training programs, enrollment, and visa-support documentation. We will not sell or redistribute your personal information to third parties, except where necessary to provide requested services or comply with legal requirements.
REFUND POLICY
Cooking Classes and Professional Chef Courses
For cooking, fruit carving, and chef courses paid for online, there is no refund for missed classes. In extenuating circumstances, at our sole discretion, we may allow a makeup class.
For classes or courses that cannot be provided due to our fault, a 100% refund will be issued for the affected services.
For classes or courses where a deposit is paid online, deposits are nonrefundable. However, we may provide credit toward a future class or course, subject to availability and confirmation by the Academy.
To qualify for this credit, we must be notified at least 30 days before the scheduled class or course start date. No credit will be issued for cancellations made less than 30 days before the scheduled start date.
DTV Culinary Programs — Visa Refusal Refund Policy
Bangkok Thai Cooking Academy offers three DTV culinary programs with different tuition and refund conditions.
1. Essential Thai Culinary Program — 24,999 Baht
15 half-day cooking classes within 9 months.
NO TUITION REFUND FOR VISA DENIAL.
The Essential program is offered at a lower tuition fee without visa-refusal refund protection. If your DTV visa application is denied, the tuition fee of 24,999 Baht is nonrefundable.
Due to the shorter training commitment, this program may not meet the requirements of all Thai embassies or consulates. Students are responsible for confirming the requirements of their intended embassy before enrolling and accept the financial risk of visa refusal.
2. Foundation Thai Culinary Program — 34,900 Baht
30 half-day cooking classes within 9 months.
If your DTV visa application is denied, you may request a tuition refund, subject to the Academy’s refund conditions.
For eligible visa refusals not caused by the Academy, a THB 6,500 administration fee will be deducted, together with applicable bank charges, currency conversion costs, and payment-processing or transfer fees.
3. Advanced Thai Culinary Program — 45,900 Baht
40 half-day cooking classes within 12 months.
The same visa-refusal refund policy as the Foundation program applies.
For eligible visa refusals not caused by the Academy, a THB 6,500 administration fee will be deducted, together with applicable bank charges, currency conversion costs, and payment-processing or transfer fees.
DTV Refund Conditions
- Visa-refusal tuition refunds are available only for the Foundation and Advanced programs, subject to the Academy’s refund conditions.
- Students must provide an official visa refusal notice from the Thai embassy or consulate within 3 calendar days of the refusal notice date.
- Students must submit their visa application within 30 calendar days of receiving their completed visa-support documents from the Academy.
- Refund eligibility may be affected by incomplete or inaccurate personal documents, failure to meet embassy requirements, missed deadlines, or other circumstances outside the Academy’s control.
- An embassy request for additional documents is not considered a visa refusal.
- No culinary program guarantees approval of a DTV visa.
